 The Extended Community

The Coffee Lounge is open from Monday to Saturday mornings 10.00 - 12.00, a place to sit and talk, or just sit, to enjoy hot or cold drink and relax in a friendly atmosphere.
 
Groups and organisations using the premises regularly include -
    
'Mini Melodies' - pre-school music making with parents and children
  
'Sign & Sing' group details
  
Language Classes in French & German for adults, and Spanish for children
 
Tarring Village W.I.
  
Weight Watchers Meeting details
 
Worthing Light Opera Company use the hall for rehearsal periods details

Worthing Speakabout, a Peer Advocacy organisation run for and by people with learning difficulties, has an office based in the building. details
  
Local Councillors hold a 'surgery' in the Coffee Lounge on Saturday mornings, and our Community Support Police Officer holds regular drop-in hours.

12.30 p.m. 'Lectionary Lunch': looking at passages to be read on the forthcoming Sunday.

There are a number of other groups and meeting-points which are part of the life of the church. They include -
  
   . preparation for Baptism as Believers and  Church Membership
   
   . the Ecology Group which has helped put care for
     the environment firmly on our agenda. Meetings and
     activities are organised from time to time.
  
   . other groups for social activities,
    discussion, quiet prayer and study meet from time
     to time and details of these are given in our  weekly
     service sheet on a Sunday Morning.
   
   . children's Holiday Club activities are held during the
     Summer and at other holiday times.
  
   . 'Theology for Today' with the Worthing Theological
      Society which meets usually on the last  Monday of each month between September -  March and attracts people of different faiths and no  faith, from a wide area, to hear a diverse range of speakers.
